About Dr. Jonathan Butler
Our Mission
Dr. Butler is the President of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), San Francisco Branch (https://sfnaacp.org/meet-the-sfnaacp-branch-officers/).
In 2018, Dr. Butler was appointed to serve on the San Francisco Sugary Drinks Distributor Tax Advisory Committee, which makes recommendations for how to invest “Soda Tax” revenue in chronic disease interventions. He served as the co-chair of the committee and the Data and Evidence subcommittee chair.
Dr. Butler is a young professional board member of The American Heart Association-Greater Bay Area.
